This small picturesque hamlet is situated in the heart of the peaceful countryside at the edge of a traditional village in the south-west region of Vienne, Poitou-Charentes. The village has its own ancient church, communal bread oven, tennis courts and a French Boules pitch. There is a local village park that you can stroll through - but that is just one of the many picturesque walks direct from the door of this fantastic property. It is also ideal for swimming, horse riding, cycling, fishing, canoeing, table tennis, badminton, boules and simply just relaxing. In the local woods and around the fields there are tracks that you can follow for miles suitable for walking, cycling and horse riding. You may even see wild boar, deer, buzzards and hares, a large mix of wild birds, there is so much nature around you.
The large seasonal outdoor pool is shared between the two cottages, Jasmine and Wisteria. Open June - October.
Cottages
A car is essential. Cot, highchair, baby bath, changing mat and a small selection of toys can be provided on request. All linen including pool towels are provided. On departure, we ask that you leave the cottage clean and tidy. If you need any special requests, please give us plenty of notice and we will try to accommodate you.
No pets allowed.
Bicycles can be rented through the Bike Hire Direct website. EV charging socket can be rented by prior arrangement only.
Location note: WIFI and phone signals are weak due to being in the middle of the countryside. If this is not an issue then you are guaranteed a peaceful and relaxing stay.
UPDATE - 1 Jan the tourist tax for this accommodation is 1,10€ per person per night (aged 18+). This cash payment will be collected on arrival.
